A psychedelic image in black and white. Flowerlike tendrils twist around each other and a central open space. The name Ether Diver is in a box at top left; the album name The Mechanics of Mysticism is in a similar box on the bottom right.

Considering it’s been nearly a month since its release, it seemed like I should get around to announcing my newest music release: The Mechanics of Mysticism is finally available, after two years of working on it and talking/posting about it! A dozen tracks of deeply psychedelic wizard synth and visionary ghostwave, and you can hear it on my Bandcamp (link: The Mechanics of Mysticism on Bandcamp) or on Ampwall (link: The Mechanics of Mysticism on Ampwall) or, hey, right here:

And, in related news, this Sunday, June 1 2025, on the actual one-month anniversary of the release, I will be doing my first-ever Bandcamp Listening Party! Basically, we’ll play the album and chat (via text) about it as it plays. I will be sharing stories about its creation, inspiration and influences, and answering any questions you might have about any part of it, or about music production in general. I’d love you to join the party! And you can do that by visiting the link here: Bandcamp Listening Party Link! to RSVP, and then again at 1:30 p.m. PDT (Los Angeles Time Zone) to hang out.

EDIT: I had to change the time from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Please update your calendars!

In the meantime and/or if you can’t make it, I’d love it if you check out the album and let me know what you think. And if you want to get a jump on the “how it was made” discussions at the listening party, you can check out my previous Production Diaries, linked below. Thanks for reading, hope to see you Sunday!
