Happy February. Time for a status report/check in!

January and Jamuary are over. I successfully completed Jamuary — 31 short “jams” in 31 days! — and there’s a playlist to prove it! (Apologies for the blown out/clipping audio in several of them; I made these late at night and missed a lot of stuff.)

With the 31 jams I made in Jamuary and the 32 I made to fill up my Ableton Move a while back, I now have 60+ demos/track starters. I am actively working to sort, prioritize and finish a bunch of them. There’s an album or two in there (or maybe an album and a handful of EPs?), maybe more — I just need to sort it out.

I am also actively working on one collaboration and trying to get another off the ground. So new music appears likely… at some point. Crazy to think it is closing in on a year since I released The Mechanics of Mysticism!

Finally, I spent some of the money from my new work on some new gear. As pictured above, I have recently added a Circuit Rhythm sampler, a Circuit Monostation synth, and a Soma Cosmos delay/looper to the spaceship. I have made a couple intro videos (see the playlist embedded below) and am now testing them to see if they will find a longterm/permanent home in the studio — either way, reviews are likely at some point!

Until next month!
